The Pisonian Villa

Description: We are located in the sunken city of Baia. The villa of the Pisoni of the first century BC It belonged to the patrician family of the Pisoni who organized a plot against the emperor Nero. The plot was discovered the villa was expropriated and passed directly into the hands of the emperor. What today it is possible to admire through a guided submerged path consists of a large garden surrounded by a porch and corridors. Along one side of the garden it is possible to admire the spa complex, while on the other side there are a series of service rooms that lead to the maritime part of the house with large tanks for fish farming. Currently the villa is part of the archaeological park of the submerged city of Baia.
