Deep Diving

Description
The charm of depth. In diving, there is something fascinating and mysterious about exploring the deepest sites. Sometimes it's a wreck that lures you above 18 metres/60 feet and, on wall dives, it could be a gorgonian or a giant sponge. Whatever it is, to safely dive to 40 metres/130 feet deep you should sign up for the PADI Deep Diver specialty course.
If you have obtained the PADI Adventure Diver certification or higher and are at least 15 years old, you can enroll in the Deep Diver course.

Academic
Your training begins by reviewing the reasons to dive deep and how important it is to know your limits. During four deep dives with your instructor, the following topics will be developed:
Special equipment for deep diving
Deep dive planning, procedures for maintaining contact with your buddy and buoyancy control.
Management of gas supply, what to do in case of gas narcosis and safety considerations.
Thanks to the Deep Diver course, you will be able to obtain school credits. Ask your instructor how to do it.
Additionally, the first dive on this PADI Specialty Diver course can be credited as an Adventure Dive towards your Advanced Open Water Diver certification – ask your instructor how to get credit.

Equipment
You will need a computer along with the rest of your basic equipment. Additionally, we recommend a flashlight and a slate. Our diving center will provide you with all the equipment necessary for the course.
