Terme del Lacus

Description: We are located in zone A of the Park. This is a new dive site. This is an area of great interest where the sea has recently returned a polychrome mosaic of rare beauty, already known by everyone as the most beautiful submerged mosaic in the world. In July, as declared 2020 by the managing body of the “Archaeological Park of the Phlegraean Fields”, work began on the safety and restoration of the new mosaic. During the works, as declared by the EG, the "open construction sites" project will be created. During the works, divers will be able to dive and admire beyond the submerged wonders of Baia, even the restorers at work. The site was called terme del Lacus and from 1 August 2020 it was open to the public.
